Travis Vandergriff

Dr. Travis Vandergriff is a Physician Scientist in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with majors in Plan II Honors, Linguistics, and Spanish Literature, followed by medical training at Baylor College of Medicine with highest honors. He completed his dermatology residency at UTSW as Chief Resident and a Dermatopathology fellowship under Dr. Clay Cockerell. Currently, he is pioneering the development of UT Southwestern's Dermatopathology service.

His research focuses on skin cancer (particularly melanoma), diagnostic dermatopathology, and medical education for future dermatologists.
