Travis Gallo

Dr. Travis Gallo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science & Technology at the University of Maryland, College Park, within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. His research focuses on urban ecology, wildlife conservation, and the behavioral adaptations of mammals in human-dominated landscapes. Key projects include the SNAPSHOT USA camera trap initiative and studies on urban wildlife disease dynamics.

Research Interests: Urban wildlife behavior, mammal community ecology, One Health frameworks, zoonotic disease surveillance, and the impacts of urbanization on biodiversity.
