Tracey Puig-Baker is an Instructor in the Department of Prelicensure Nursing at Augusta University's College of Nursing. She contributes to undergraduate nursing education with a focus on foundational clinical and leadership topics.

Her research is focused on understanding how depression influences outcomes in bariatric surgery patients, contributing to improved patient-centered care models.
Professional service includes leadership roles as Committee Chair for both the BSN Admissions and BSN Program Committees at Augusta University. She serves on the Core Curriculum Committee and previously contributed to the Total Quality Leadership Committee and university budget processes. Nationally, she is active in Sigma Theta Tau, serving as Treasurer since 2017, and volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps and Boy Scouts of America. She also mentored students in the Augusta University - Peru Study Abroad Experience in 2018.
