Dr Tracey Lloyd is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Senior Tutor at Bangor University's School of Psychology and Sport Science, where she has been affiliated since 2000. She teaches modules such as Personality and Individual Differences, Stress and Distress, and MSc Counselling, while supervising undergraduate research projects.

Her research focuses on evidence-based practice in teaching and learning, particularly how psychological variables influence academic motivation and wellbeing in university students. She also investigates parental wellbeing in raising children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including longitudinal studies on psychological adjustment and expressed emotion in families.
Tracey’s publications span topics like experiential learning through field trips, modern slavery awareness, and clinical psychology studies on IDD parenting. She has presented at workshops and conferences on these themes. Her work integrates pedagogy with applied research to address societal and educational challenges.
