Tracee Jamison-Hooks

Tracee Jamison-Hooks is an Associate Professor at the School of Earth and Space Exploration, Arizona State University. She holds a PhD from North Carolina A&T State University (2003) and has over 20 years of experience at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Her research focuses on digital signal processing, Earth remote sensing, small satellite instrumentation, and photonics. She is a member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society.

Her work spans space instrumentation development including PRIMA mission electronics, Origins Space Telescope concepts, and SELFI instrument for Enceladus studies. She has contributed to radiation belt exploration (CeREs mission) and advanced fiber optic technologies for space applications. Her expertise includes laser systems qualification, nonlinear optical crystal research, and sensor technologies for space environments.
