Dr. Toronyi Bence is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geodesy and Surveying, Faculty of Engineering, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He specializes in geodesy, photogrammetry, and land administration, with extensive experience in national mapping and infrastructure projects.
- PhD in Earth Sciences (ELTE, 2017)
- MS in Geophysics (ELTE, 2003)
- BS in Surveying Engineering (BME, 1998)
His work includes projects such as the Digitális Alap Térkép (DAT) for urban mapping and the Integrált Nemzeti Ingatlan Kataszter (INIK) for land registration systems. He has contributed to disaster management efforts during the 2010 red mud catastrophe.
