Professor Tore Nilssen is affiliated with the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo, where he has served since 1997. His academic roles include Vice-Dean for Research (2020-2024), Head of PhD Studies (2012-2019), and Deputy Head of Department (2005-2007). He holds a Ph.D. (Dr.oecon.) in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (1991) and has contributed extensively to industrial organization, political economy, and media economics.
