Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Social Work and Faculty Support Liaison for Racially Underrepresented Students. Previously served as a full-time lecturer in Social Work at Buffalo State College. Holds a DSW from Simmons University (2024), MSW from UB (2015), and BSW from Buffalo State College (2014).
Research focuses on anti-racist practices in higher education, racial trauma, and improving DEI training outcomes for BIPOC students. Examines implicit/explicit racism’s impact on learning environments and generational poverty in Black families.
Awards include the Arthur A. Schomburg Fellowship and MFP-Y Fellowship (CSWE).
Advocates for decolonizing social work education and addressing systemic inequities in mental health and substance abuse support.
