Tonya Moore-Huss is a Lecturer in the Department of Education at the Graduate School of Northwestern College. With over 30 years of experience in elementary and special education, she contributes expertise in inclusive teaching practices and educational foundations.

- B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa
Her work focuses on preparing educators for foundational roles in diverse classrooms, emphasizing support for students with exceptionalities. She has received the 2020 Northwestern Teaching Excellence Award.
Moore-Huss has taught courses such as Foundations of Education (EDU102) and Survey of Exceptional Individuals (EDU206), both critical to teacher licensure programs. She previously served as a special education teacher in Iowa school districts from 1992 to 2015.
