Tonya Fountain, D.M., serves as Special Appointment Faculty in the Business department of Cornerstone University's Professional & Graduate Studies school. She develops and teaches courses in management, leadership, and organizational behavior, including two courses for the Ed.D. program. Concurrently, she holds the position of Corporate Training and Employee Development Manager at Michigan Farm Bureau and co-founded community organizations Diversity Lansing and Alliance for Equity and Inclusion.

Dr. Fountain's research centers on critical intersections of identity and ethics in corporate environments, particularly examining perceptions of Black women in corporate America. Her work uniquely integrates Christian theological frameworks with business practices, exploring Christian forgiveness in marriage and value maintenance in workplaces. This scholarship advances discourse on diversity, equity, and inclusion through organizational development lenses while promoting social justice initiatives in community partnerships.
She actively shapes professional landscapes through leadership roles including Secretary for Erickson Learning Foundation's Board of Directors, Advisory Board Member for Diversity Lansing, and past President of Greater Lansing Society of Human Resources Management. Her community impact extends to Board Membership at Capital Quality and Innovation and Youth Directorship at Guiding Light Baptist Church, demonstrating commitment to both professional excellence and faith-based community service.
