Dr. Tony Turner is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology at the University of Edinburgh's Moray House School of Education and Sport, within the Institute for Sport, Physical Education & Health Sciences (ISPEHS). He previously served as co-Director of Research, Knowledge Exchange & Impact for Moray House (2021-2024). His roles include teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as BSc Applied Sport Science and MSc Strength & Conditioning, and他曾担任课程负责人、项目主任和考试委员会主席。
Research focuses on applying physiology to sport and exercise contexts, particularly motor sport physiology, cardio-respiratory responses, strength & conditioning physiology, and concussion studies. Notable projects include work on altitude training for swimmers and hypermobility syndromes in pediatrics.
Labs/Teams: Core member of the Human Performance Science Research Group and part of the Edinburgh Sports Medicine Research Network.
