Tony Seykora

Tony Seykora is a Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Minnesota. He holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University (1982). His research focuses on Dairy Cattle Genetics and Animal Breeding, with extensive teaching experience in courses like ANSC 1101, ANSC 1205, and ANSC 3307. He has contributed to Dairy Production Systems Management and guest-lectured in veterinary and animal science programs.

Key roles include co-advising the Block & Bridle Club and Gopher Dairy Club, and advising state 4-H and FFA programs. Seykora has received numerous accolades, including the 2023 Department Leadership Award and CFANS Distinguished Faculty Award.
