Tony Hardman

Tony Hardman serves as a Librarian and Adjunct Instructor for the Speech Communication department at Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU), blending academic support with storytelling expertise. He is a board member of the Tejas Storytelling Association, a prominent U.S.-based organization dedicated to preserving and training storytellers, particularly youth.

Hardman has been a pivotal figure in Oklahoma’s Territory Tellers for 17 years, acting as President four times. His storytelling talents were recognized in 2023 with a win in the Liars Contest at the Texas Storytelling Festival, leading to a featured performance in their 2024 concert series. At OPSU, he extends beyond traditional librarian duties by teaching Speech Communication classes, emphasizing the transformative power of narrative in education and community building.
