معرفی
Tony Clark is Professor of Software Engineering and Deputy Dean of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Aston University. His research develops methods for system modeling and simulation using digital twin technologies and agent-based approaches.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science from Queen Mary College, University of London
- B.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Hull
Dr. Clark's work focuses on language engineering for system modeling (XModeler tool) and simulation technologies using adaptive agents (ESL programming language). Current projects apply digital twins to predictive maintenance in energy systems and decision-making under uncertainty.
Publications demonstrate consistent contributions to model-driven engineering, multi-level modeling, and the application of digital twins to complex systems. Recent work emphasizes sociotechnical systems modeling and the integration of AI in enterprise systems.
As editor-in-chief of Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM) and other technical journals, Dr. Clark advances research in software engineering. His industry experience includes founding a technology company and serving as Head of Computer Science at Middlesex University.
