معرفی
Tommy Ohlsson is a full professor in theoretical physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. His research focuses on neutrino physics, beyond the Standard Model, and grand unified theories. He is affiliated with the Department of Particle Astrophysics and Medical Imaging at KTH.
He has been involved in major projects like the European Spallation Source neutrino super-beam (ESSnuSB) experiment and has contributed to studies on sterile neutrinos, non-standard interactions, and neutrino oscillations. His work spans experimental and theoretical aspects, including detector design, renormalization group running, and flavor physics.
Ohlsson has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, with recent emphasis on precision neutrino experiments, dark matter implications, and high-energy physics models. His textbook Relativistic Quantum Physics is widely cited in the field.
- Education: PhD in Theoretical Physics (KTH, 2000)
- Licentiate in Physics (KTH, 1997)
His research interests include neutrino oscillations in matter, proton decay mechanisms, and the interplay between particle physics and cosmology.
