Dr. Tomasz Rakowski is an Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Warsaw. He holds leadership roles in multiple academic councils, including the Council for Scientific Excellence and the Faculty of Arts and Culture at the University of Warsaw.
Research Focus: His work centers on postsocialist transformations, anthropological studies of poverty, grassroots development processes, and experimental ethnographic methodologies.
