Tom Oomen is a full professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. He specializes in control systems, system identification, and mechatronics, with applications in precision engineering, semiconductor technology, and healthcare. His research focuses on data-driven control strategies, integrating machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance system performance. He has held academic positions at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, The University of Newcastle, and Delft University of Technology.
