Tom Mrowka

Tom Mrowka is a Professor of Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His work bridges low-dimensional topology, partial differential equations, and mathematical physics.

His research focuses on the interplay between geometric structures in lower dimensions and analytical methods like PDEs, with applications to quantum field theory and gauge theory.

He co-organizes the MIT Geometry Seminar and a gauge theory seminar at Harvard, highlighting his leadership in collaborative academic activities. Previously, he taught the 18.994 Seminar in Geometry in Spring 2007.
