Tom Halleen is the founding Dean of Biola University’s Snyder School of Cinema and Media Arts. A veteran of the entertainment industry with nearly 30 years of experience, he previously served as Executive Vice President of Programming Strategy, Acquisitions, and Scheduling at AMC Networks, where he played a pivotal role in launching iconic series like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead. His expertise spans acquisitions, scheduling, development, production, and media planning.

Halleen’s career bridges academic leadership with hands-on industry innovation. He has negotiated over $1 billion in acquisitions and built executive relationships with major studios, while advocating for Christian engagement in media through speaking engagements at events like the Envision Film Festival and Mastermedia International’s Summit.
