Tom Gritter is an Intermittent Lecturer at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate asset management. He holds a BBA from the Ross School of Business, graduating with high distinction. His career spans 20 years in real estate development, asset management, and transactions across hospitality, multifamily, and commercial sectors.
Key professional highlights include leading the distressed assets division at McKinley Companies during the Great Recession, overseeing a 3 million sq ft commercial portfolio, and founding Gritter Real Estate Services in 2019. He contributed to the ULI Award-winning Bay Harbor resort development and Oil Nut Bay projects. Tom is a licensed Michigan real estate broker with soccer accolades including NCAA Elite 8 with the University of Michigan team.
