Todor Ivanov

Todor Ivanov is a Senior Researcher at the Database and Information Systems (DBIS) Group, Goethe University Frankfurt. His research focuses on Big Data systems, distributed computing, and performance optimization. He holds a Doctorate in Natural Sciences (Computer Science) from Goethe University (2019), a Master's in Distributed Software Systems from TU Darmstadt (2014), and a Bachelor's in Computational Engineering from TU Darmstadt (2009).

His work includes designing and evaluating benchmarks for Big Data platforms (e.g., CoreBigBench, ABench), analyzing SQL-on-Hadoop performance, and exploring Spark Structured Streaming.
