Todd Thornock is an Associate Professor of Accountancy and the Raymond C. Dein Professor of Accountancy at the College of Business, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a research focus on managerial accounting, performance feedback, and behavioral accounting. His work examines how incentive systems, control mechanisms, and personality traits influence decision-making and performance.

Recent work explores AI tools like ChatGPT in accounting education and the interplay between psychological entitlement and monitoring practices on performance.

Todd actively contributes to academic service as an Editorial Board Member of Behavioral Research in Accounting and Journal of Management Accounting Research, and through leadership roles in Award Selection Committees at the American Accounting Association.
