Tobias Schneid

Tobias Schneid is a Lecturer in Music Theory and Composition at the University of Music Würzburg, where he has been teaching since 2001. Previously, he served as Lecturer in Music Theory at the Conservatory of Music Würzburg (1997-2001) and as Composer in Residence at the University of Manchester (1996). His academic career also includes lecturing positions at the International Youth Festival in Bayreuth (1997-1999) and 'Jeunesses Musicales' (2001).

As a composer, Schneid specializes in contemporary classical music with a focus on chamber works, violin caprices, piano trios, and solo instrumental compositions.
