Tipton Hudson is an Associate Professor at Washington State University, serving as a Regional Extension Specialist in Livestock and Range Management. He also holds the role of Director for Kittitas County Extension, focusing on sustainable rangeland practices and ecosystem health.

His research and outreach efforts center on sustainable rangeland grazing, water quality, riparian grazing systems, ecosystem health monitoring, soil health improvement, and land management strategies for wildfire recovery. He leads the The Art of Range podcast, funded by the Western Center for Risk Management Education, which explores rangeland management and livestock production through expert interviews.
