Tina Stratigos is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at the University of Sydney, within the Sydney School of Education and Social Work. She holds a PhD from Charles Sturt University (2017) and has extensive experience in early childhood settings, primary school teaching, and out-of-school hours services.
Her research focuses on infants and toddlers' experiences in early childhood education, educator preparation for this age group, and the impact of digital tools (e.g., apps, ePortfolios) on professional practice and family engagement. Emerging interests include optimizing early childhood teacher training through professional experience placements.
Teaching responsibilities include the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and Bachelor of Education programs. She coordinates Early Childhood Professional Experience units, emphasizing practical learning and pedagogical strategies for infants and toddlers.
