Dr. Tina Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Biomechanics at the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. She holds a PhD from Southern Cross University (Australia) and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Brighton. Her research focuses on biomechanics of functional movement in populations such as those with Parkinson’s disease, exploring exercise interventions to improve musculoskeletal health. She has led UKRI-funded projects on symptom monitoring technologies and contributed to the MinD project on dementia care. Awards include the University of Wolverhampton Early Researcher Award.
