Tina Peterman is a Professor of Counselor Education within the College of Education, with extensive administrative leadership experience:
- Interim Dean for the College of Education (2023-2024)
- Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (2017-2022)
- Chair of the Counselor Education Department (2015-2017)
- Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling program coordinator (2010-2016)
She holds a Ph.D. in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves on the editorial board of the Career Development Quarterly, with prior service on the National Career Development Association Credentialing Commission.
Her research focuses on career development pathways for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses, emphasizing evidence-based counseling interventions and vocational rehabilitation strategies to enhance workforce participation.

Dr. Peterman actively contributes to professional development through:
- Supervision of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Interns in Oregon via private practice
