Tina Jimenez

Dr. Tina Jimenez serves as an HS Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine since 2025, while concurrently practicing as a Neuropsychologist at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Cleveland Clinic since 2024.

Her educational background includes a BA in Psychology and Chicano/a Studies (Social Political Policy emphasis) from the University of California Davis (2014), an MA in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (2020), and a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the same institution (2022). She completed her Pre-doctoral Internship at the Birmingham Veteran Affairs Medical Center, University of Alabama (2022) and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior (2024).

Dr. Jimenez specializes in neuropsychological assessment and neurocognitive rehabilitation for adult brain tumor patients, with research focusing on cognitive functioning in medical ailments and diversity-related themes. Her clinical work emphasizes culturally responsive care to improve healthcare access for marginalized communities, integrating psychosocial support to enhance survivorship quality. She actively develops strategies for patients and caregivers to maximize brain health through equitable interventions.

Within UCSF's Brain Tumor Center, she contributes to comprehensive survivorship programs including neurocognitive care, integrative approaches, exercise initiatives, and psycho-oncology services. Her role extends to caregiver support systems and resource development for underrepresented populations navigating brain tumor treatment and recovery.
