Tina Benny

Tina Benny, Pharm.D., BCACP, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Nova Southeastern University's Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Her practice site is at Cambridge Medical Group in Boynton Beach, FL, a primary care physicians' office within an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). She serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Program at NSUCOP and is an integral member of the ACO Research Network Services and Education (ACORN SEED) team, focusing on integrating pharmacists into value-based care models and providing student training opportunities within ACOs.

• Education: Doctorate in Pharmacy from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy in Queens, NY; PGY1 residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY; PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Her research and practice focus on transitions of care, accountable care organizations, anticoagulation, and diabetes management. She has conducted multiple research projects and presented nationally and locally via posters and podium presentations, emphasizing innovative pharmacy integration in clinical settings.
