Timothy P. Hedley is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where he serves as an Executive-in-Residence overseeing ESG literacy programs. He teaches courses in sustainability reporting, forensic accounting, business ethics, and digital economy risks. Previously a retired global lead partner for fraud risk management at a Big Four firm, he now advises clients on governance and integrity issues. Hedley holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Sienna College, an M.S. in Accounting, and a Ph.D. in Public Management (Accounting and Control) from the University at Albany, SUNY.

His research focuses on fraud prevention, regulatory enforcement, and ESG integration in corporate governance. He co-authored two seminal books: The New Era of Regulatory Enforcement and Managing the Risk of Fraud and Misconduct, emphasizing global regulatory challenges in a digital era. Hedley actively serves on professional boards, including chair roles in the Connecticut Society of CPAs and the Center for Professional Accounting Practices.
Leveraging over three decades of audit and consulting experience, his work bridges academic rigor with real-world applications in forensic accounting and ethical business practices. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).
