Timothy Molloy

Timothy Molloy is a Senior Lecturer in Mechatronics at The Australian National University (ANU) within the ANU College of Systems & Society. Previously, he held research roles at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the University of Melbourne, focusing on optimal control, dynamic game theory, and robotics. His expertise includes inference under uncertainty, quickest detection, and autonomous systems design. He holds a B.Eng and Ph.D from QUT (2010, 2015), and has received notable awards including the QUT University Medal, QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award, and an Advance Queensland Early-Career Research Fellowship.
