Timothy Meinke, PhD, is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Lynchburg, affiliated with the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He holds a PhD in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland (2002), and multiple MA and BA degrees in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University (1993-1995). His research focuses on American Public Policy, Public Administration, Federalism, and State/Local Politics. He teaches courses including American Government, Public Policy, Political Theory, and Research Methods.
Dr. Meinke’s academic contributions span policy analysis and governance structures. His teaching portfolio includes foundational courses like The American Experiment and specialized topics such as Legislatures and Lobbyists.
