Timothy Langen serves as Associate Professor of Russian and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Russian within the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Missouri. Based in 211C Arts and Science Building with contact details 573-882-6167 and langent@missouri.edu, he teaches Russian language courses (second-year through third-year), literature, cultural history, and the Honors Humanities Sequence including The Ancient World and Early Modern World.
His research specializes in nineteenth and twentieth-century Russian literature and intellectual history, with concentrated analysis of Nikolai Gogol, Andrey Bely, and Sigizmund Krzhizhanovsky.
