Timothy Dickson

Timothy Dickson, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), within the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on grassland ecology, restoration ecology, and the impacts of management practices on ecosystem services such as carbon sequestration and pollinator conservation. He leads the Grassland Ecology Lab, exploring topics like how grazing by cattle or bison affects milkweed and monarch butterfly populations. His teaching spans Restoration Ecology, General Biology, and Statistics.

Dr. Dickson has received the E. Lucy Braun Award (2003) for contributions to ecological research.
