Timothy D. Terrell is the T.B. Stackhouse Professor of Economics at Wofford College, where he has taught since 2000. His research focuses on environmental regulation, property rights, and the ethics of market systems. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Mises Institute, Senior Associate Editor of the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Libertarian Studies. Dr. Terrell holds a B.S. and M.A. in Economics from Clemson University (1994, 1995) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Auburn University (1998). His teaching includes principles of economics, public finance, regulation, and American economic history.
His research spans environmental policy, regulatory impacts, and interdisciplinary studies in economics and ethics. Recent work explores carbon flux dynamics, third-party payer effects in healthcare, and privatization of space exploration.
