Dr. Timothy Brown serves as a part-time Senior Clinical Tutor at Swansea University Medical School, leading Year 2 Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) students. His roles include teaching gastrointestinal/surgical anatomy, general surgical topics, and setting/examining standards for medical examinations. Previously, he was a Consultant in General Surgery and Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery at ABMU Health Board, where he established the pancreatic unit and contributed to founding Swansea's medical school. He has taught medical students from Swansea and Cardiff universities and participated in Royal College of Surgeons of England courses. Internationally, he leads surgical missions in Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan through Operation Hernia and Hernia International, focusing on hernia surgery and trainee education.
