Timothy Anderson is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of East Anglia's School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing. His current project examines alliteration in 19th-century poetry and its role in both preserving and challenging social norms. He previously conducted PhD research on Richard Wagner's reception in Britain and North America (1872–1918), with a monograph under review.

Du Bois, Vernon Lee, and W.B. Yeats. He organizes the 2025 conference New Perspectives on Alliteration in Poetry and Cultural History.
Publications explore Wagner's reception in Victorian contexts and literary translation history. Awards include the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship (2023–2026).
