Timotej Lazar serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, where he teaches System Software and maintains active research engagement through the EU-funded ARISA project (Artificial Intelligence Skills Alliance, 2022-2026).
His research spans Artificial Intelligence, System Software, and Biomedical Informatics, with notable work on developing smartphone applications for electrocardiography assistance. This reflects his interdisciplinary approach to applying computing solutions in healthcare contexts.
Dr. Lazar participates in significant research initiatives including the ARRS program on Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems (2015-2020) and the ARISA project.
