Prof. Dr. Tim Wawer is a Professor of Energy Economics at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology. He serves as Scientific Director of the Research Center for Energy Economics and Energy Law (fee), focusing on energy system transformation toward climate neutrality. His research emphasizes electricity markets, renewable energy integration, and stakeholder interactions in energy systems.
Education: Studied Economics at the University of Münster (Germany) and Havana University (Cuba). Dissertation focused on integrating renewables into Germany's liberalized electricity market.
