Tim O’Connell is a Full Professor and Chair of the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at Brock University. Specializing in outdoor recreation, adventure-based learning, and experiential education, he co-founded Brock BaseCamp, an outdoor orientation program for incoming students. A 3M National Teaching Fellow (2017)—Canada’s top teaching honor—he focuses on reflective practice, outdoor program impacts, and sense of place.
