Tim Lieuwen is a Professor at the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering within the College of Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Research and Executive Director of the Strategic Energy Institute.

- Clean Energy: Focuses on technologies for energy storage, hydrogen fuel blending, and reducing carbon emissions.
- Propulsion Systems: Expertise in combustion dynamics and fluid mechanics for aerospace applications.

- Acoustics: Investigates acoustic phenomena in combustion and propulsion systems.
- Hydrogen Technology: Leads projects like the world’s largest hydrogen fuel blending demonstration in Smyrna.
