Dr Tim Gabriel is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Science at Manchester Metropolitan University, specializing in nanostructure fabrication, lithium-ion battery materials, and electrochemistry. He is affiliated with the John Dalton Building and holds the position of Higher Education Academy Fellow (2016).
His research focuses on advancing energy storage technologies and nanomaterials, with notable contributions recognized through awards such as the Materials Ireland Annual Conference Prize (2010) and a Merck Industrial Case Studentship Prize (2001, 2003). He has also been commended by Tony Blair for science communication efforts (2007).
