Till Grallert is a Research Associate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, leading the 'Methods Innovation Lab' subproject under NFDI4Memory (2023–). He co-founded the SIG Multilingual DH within ADHO and contributes to the DFG-funded Qalamos project. Previously, he held research roles at the German Historical Institute London (2019–22) and the Orient-Institut Beirut (2014–21).

His research spans Digital Humanities with a focus on the Global South, computational analysis of Arabic periodicals, and conceptual history of the Late Ottoman Empire. Current work includes the digital edition framework OpenArabicPE and the Project Jarāʾid periodical chronology.
Recent publications address stylometric analysis of Arabic texts, urban public space in Ottoman Damascus, and crowdsourced digital scholarship. He actively develops open-source tools for TEI encoding, calendar conversion, and Wikidata integration.

Grallert collaborates with institutions across the Max Weber Foundation and contributes to DH networks like Islamicate Digital Humanities Network. His technical expertise includes TEI XML, XSLT, and R programming.
