Tikiri Amarasinghe is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Department of Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Fresno. She has been lecturing since 2016, specializing in teaching courses like ENGR 101 Applied Engineering Analysis, Math 3L College Algebra with Support, and Math 6 Precalculus.
Education: M.S. in Engineering Mathematics (University of Texas at Dallas, 2003), M.S. in Applied Mathematics (Southern Methodist University, 2001), and B.Sc. in Mathematics (University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, 1996).
Research focuses on differential equations, matrices, and mathematical modeling of physical systems. Prior teaching includes roles at Richland Community College, Fresno City Community College, and Clovis Community College Center, where she taught courses in algebra, trigonometry, and statistics.
