Tiffany Sia

Tiffany Sia is an Adjunct Instructor at The Cooper Union’s School of Art, where she teaches interdisciplinary courses blending art, film, and writing. Her creative practice spans experimental films, installations, and literary works that interrogate themes of identity, memory, and cultural hybridity. Sia’s films have been showcased at prestigious venues including the New York Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and MoMA Doc Fortnight. Her written works include the 2024 essay collection On and Off-Screen Imaginaries, and chapbooks published by Inpatient Press and Speculative Place.

Her artistic exhibitions include solo shows at Artists Space (NY), Felix Gaudlitz (Vienna), and group participations at Fondazione Prada (Italy), Museum of Modern Art (NY), and Seoul Museum of Art. Her writing appears in Artforum, Film Quarterly, and October, where she critically engages with visual culture and media practices. Sia’s work bridges cinematic and literary forms, creating immersive narratives that challenge traditional disciplinary boundaries.

Notable creative projects include the 2023 film The Sojourn, which explores diasporic identity through fragmented storytelling, and 2022’s What Rules the Invisible, examining unseen social structures through experimental documentary techniques.
