Dr. Tibisay Morgandi is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Energy and Natural Resources Law at Queen Mary University of London. Her research examines the intersection of energy governance, climate law, and investment treaties, with particular focus on the Energy Charter Treaty reform and corporate accountability.
She directs the TradeLab legal clinic providing pro bono support on trade and investment law, including projects for the Chilean government. Her recent work addresses greenwashing liability in corporate reporting and forced labor in trade agreements.
Dr. Morgandi has advised the European Commission, ClientEarth, and ILAW Network on trade-environment linkages. She serves on the editorial board of Global Energy Law and Sustainability and is Distinguished Research Fellow at Macquarie University's Centre for Environmental Law.
