Professor Tian Tang is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. He holds the Canada Research Chair and specializes in mechanics, materials science, and biomedical engineering. His research spans elasticity, composites, nanomaterials, biomechanics, and biomaterials, with applications in polymer science and cellular mechanics.
