Thorsten Burger

Thorsten Burger is a Professor of "Concepts and Methods of Special Education" at Konrad-Adenauer-Hochschule Freiburg since 2014. Previously, he was appointed as a W3-Professor for "Psychology of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing" at Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg (rejected). He holds a PhD in Psychology (Rehabilitation Psychology) from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (2005). His professional background includes roles at the Cochlear-Implant Center of Freiburg University Hospital (2003–2014) and the Educational and Counseling Center for Hearing-Impaired Individuals in Stegen (2005–2014).
