Thor I. Fossen

Thor I. Fossen is a Professor of Guidance, Navigation, and Control at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Engineering Cybernetics. He holds a PhD in Engineering Cybernetics and an MSc in Marine Technology. His research focuses on marine craft hydrodynamics, autonomous systems, inertial navigation, and cybersecurity of control systems. He is an IEEE Fellow and has authored influential textbooks such as the Handbook of Marine Craft Hydrodynamics and Motion Control.
