Thomas Schultz

Thomas Schultz is an Associate Professor of Accountancy at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business, where he has been since 2012. He co-directs the Master of Science in Accountancy program and advises Beta Gamma Sigma. His certifications include a CPA (Registered, Illinois).

Education: Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accountancy) from Arizona State University, M.S.A. from Northern Illinois University, and B.B.A. in Public Accounting from Loyola University Chicago.

Teaching focuses on taxation and financial reporting. Research explores the interplay between financial and tax accounting for U.S. multinational enterprises. He supports community initiatives via the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program and is part of the Ernst & Young Global Alumni Network.

Award recognition includes the Haworth College of Business Faculty Teaching Award, highlighting his educational contributions.
